We need your help to Pollinate Minnesota.

Donate here or at our Give to the Max Day page here.

Since we were founded in 2015, Pollinate Minnesota has:

  • taught over 40,000 people in our classes, with more than 5,000 of them in beekeeping suits, working hives with us.

    • Over 75% of these folks were elementary students, learning about bees and building bravery through our immersive, standards-based inquiry lessons. Over 95% had never worked a hive before.

  • lobbied collectively for pollinator protections at the state and federal level.

  • worked for more pollinator-friendly communities. Minnesota leads the nation in pollinator-friendly policies. Currently Minnesota over 45 Pollinator Friendly Municipalities and 3 colleges!

  • kept bees! In 2022 we had 20 bee hives with 8 unique community partners.

We teach around 80-100 programs annually, and connect these memorable experiences to standards-based interdisciplinary curriculum. This year, after a beekeeping class with new partner Dowling Elementary School (the third Minneapolis Public School where we keep bees!) a fifth grader shared that she has had two fears her whole life: death and bees. Now, she just has one. We consistently hear feedback like: "Best professional development ever!" and "This is like a Magic School Bus Field Trip!"

Your donation puts more students in beekeeping suits, mobilizes more pollinator friendly communities and Pollinates Minnesota.

Your support funds pollinator advocacy, helps us deepen our educational partnerships and branch out to reach new audiences.

We rely on pollinators for healthy food and beautiful ecosystems.

We need your help to help them.
